A counsellor’s main focus is to help individuals and their families gain insight and cope with the emotional toll of challenging life circumstances or difficulties of everyday living.
“Mental strength is not the ability to stay out of the darkness, it’s the ability to sit present in the darkness knowing that the light will shine again.”
Life can be overwhelming and counselling aims to improve relationships and decrease feelings of distress by giving you the tools to help you get better at handling problems in the future.
The fees for a 50-minute counselling session vary:
$225 with a registered psychologist
$155 with a registered counsellor or social worker
